Jimmy – A Ridiculous Tragedy
Jimmy – A Ridiculous Tragedy
In a captivating one-man show, and a tour de force of physicality, Richard Kimberley brings a wide variety of characters to life through physical theatre, incisive mime and clowning.
At the heart of the story is the young Jimmy's quest to become a real Man. Hidden grief, toxic behaviour, shame and admired role models all play a part, as does Kimberley's ruthless humour.
Laugh and cry at the ridiculousness of it all, in search of understanding what it means to be leaving boyhood behind to become a man.
"Richard Kimberley dissects modern masculinity with his astute mastery of posture, movement, and character."
